RESTORED is a 3-month mental and emotional wellbeing support program for women who are Mothers, and are wanting to feel supported and develop their internal resources so they feel in touch with their inner workings and sense of self throughout their Motherhood journey.

A 3-month mental and emotional wellbeing support program for women who are ready for support in becoming self-assured, centred and purpose-filled throughout their Motherhood journey.

This program is for you if you are:

  • Experiencing anxiety at the thought of living up to your own, or others’ expectations of motherhood, like you are not succeeding in any areas, dropping the ball, a disappointment to yourself and others?
  • Concerned about giving up work/taking a career break and what that means for you?
  • Worried about how things have changed; your body, your emotions, your relationship with your partner - how you think they see you and how you see yourself?
  • Feeling tired all the time, not yourself and like your life is always on someone else’s agenda with your needs coming last.
  • Craving some support and empathy and a non- judgmental safe place to land where you can feel understood and heard and where all emotions are welcome to be aired.

And you’re ready to:

  • Re-ignite some guilt-free self-care in your life and put yourself first.
  • Embody your authentic, best self. Remember who you are again, feeling energised, confident, and empowered.
  • Make your mark on the world outside of being a Mum and remind yourself of the value you add to the world and feel excited again about life,
  • Be equipped to tackle challenging situations and feelings of overwhelm from the "Motherload" from learning positive tools and strategies you can call on (great to tap into when you feel pulled in multiple directions).
  • And be supported in the process of becoming that. Experience a caring, confidential space to openly unpack any self-doubts, shame, guilt, confusion, fogginess (I know you know what I mean Mama).

I WOULD BE HONOURED TO WALK BESIDE YOU TO HELP SUPPORT YOU ON YOUR MOTHERHOOD JOURNEY AS YOU COME BACK HOME TO YOU

I understand how you are feeling. As a mother, myself, I know the pull we feel in our innermost depths of our hearts, minds, and bodies, often on a daily basis.

I'm so pleased that you’re here Beautiful Mama.

After the roller-coaster of 7 x unsuccessful IVF treatments, a subsequent marriage break-up on my quest to become a Mum, a life move, upheaval, career change, new life, new love, 4 x more IVFs and finally our beautiful little babe in our arms, I thought I was totally prepared for all that motherhood had to deliver.

I had prepared for, longed for, and been hoping desperately to land this role, actively for 10 years, and emotionally for as long as I could remember.

I lost my own Mum when I was 6 years old but always knew deep in my heart that I would one day become a Mum myself. I am a natural nurturer and whilst I spent a long time searching for what it was that lit me up for work, this was one role I always knew was in my life plan and felt confident that I would be good at.

Little did I know that it would take me a decade and multiple IVFs with so many hard to navigate reality slaps along the way, and for my world to fall apart with a divorce and life upheaval, before I would lovingly and bravely put it back together, with more awareness, beauty, and strength than ever before to now be here in all its perfect imperfectness full of love, laughter, purpose, and passion.

At 42 years old, my amazing new husband, Dan and I were blessed to fall pregnant on our 4th Fertility treatment together, my 11th one in total. At 43, our beautiful, little bundle arrived, and our much-cherished daughter Zoe is now a vivacious, confident, funny, empowered little 4-year-old who keeps us on our toes, makes us laugh, challenges us, exhausts us, and lights us up on the daily.

Dan and I met on a Charity Bike Ride a few years earlier, fundraising for some beautiful children in Thailand, who are a big part of our family and were the first children in our lives who made us feel like parents. It was a meeting of the minds and hearts as we cycled 800kms over 8 days, on dusty roads, from Bangkok to Khao Lak with 46 other brave souls and my best friend (and soul sister) Carol, one of the most amazing women I have in my life and a beautiful mother herself. Hands Across The Water, the incredible Australian run organisation that supports 7 x homes and community projects for at risk Thai children.

I came home to being a mother years before I actually became a mother myself. Being involved in something that was much bigger than my own problems at home helped set in motion an exploration of self, a renewed sense of purpose and value, a new lease on life and a feeling of deep belonging and connection.

Before my beautiful new role of Mother to Zoe, “I did the work, not the paid kind, the unpaid, but life-changing, deep soul expanding, raw, honest, at times painful, inner work that helped me to understand who I really was. I became clear on what my deal breakers are, my non-negotiables, what I need in my mental health tool-kit to return home to myself in times of turmoil and how I can tap into those vital tools to help me stay steady, calm and in control of my life”. From my own life experiences and my passion to help other women thrive through their adversities, I knew that Coaching and Mentoring women was my purpose for my career.

And I recognise that this inner knowing is a work in progress for most of us, but I truly believe that once you can get back to yourself, then you can find your peaceful flow in life. I feel like the eternal student, with a lot of inward reflection to tap into my own self-awareness and evolution.

I now coach and mentor other women to help make their path a less lonely, more purposeful and supported one. I know the importance of maintaining a strong sense of self and having the right kind of support around you through the challenges that motherhood delivers us, so that you can truly thrive and be all that you wish to be for yourself, alongside the things you want to be as a mother.

Through my own journey I learned coping strategies and I would love to share those with you. Brene Brown once said “We don’t have to do it all alone, we were never meant to” and how right she was!

My desire for you is that you too arrive at a place in your life where it is rich and full of the things you love, armed with the tools to navigate the beautiful messiness of life, the ever-evolving changes that Motherhood brings.

And now I’m ready to help you experience your Motherhood journey the same way.

And that’s exactly what I help you to do in this program

RESTORED PROGRAM

How it works

Over the next 3 months you’ll have sacred, confidential sessions and a safe place to land when you need it most; me as your support person, your empathic ear and shoulder to lean on.

I’ll also be helping you to create some beautiful foundations in what I like to call your Mama Mental Health First Aid Kit. You’ll gain clarity around jumbled thoughts, feel empowered to maintain a sense of self through your Motherhood journey and reconnect to the things that bring you joy and allow your life to flow.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

A pre-coaching questionnaire

These materials are sent via email prior to your first session. They will set the important foundations for our sessions together.

12 x Weekly Coaching sessions

Each session will occur weekly by either phone or zoom video call. Empathic mentoring and coaching support where we will work together.

Helpful resources

Workbooks, audios, and recommended resources to help you develop your ‘mental well-being kit’.

Email support

Email access to me. Perfect for those times when you need some extra support or think of something you would like to run past me in between sessions.

DURING OUR TIME TOGETHER you will:

Develop your Mama mental health wellbeing first aid kit / internal resources so that you can navigate challenges, develop emotional stability, resilience, and wellbeing.

Example topics we’ll cover together to develop your internal resources include:

  • Learn positive strategies to cope with the anxieties, fears and overwhelm of the “Motherload” that can make your head spin and leave your energy depleted.
  • Be equipped with the tools to get back to who you are and do more of the things that light you up that are just for you, without any lingering guilt or worry about putting your own needs first.
  • Re-gain clarity and structure around areas of your life that you have let slide so that you feel empowered and more intentional with how you spend your time and energy.
  • Feel confident to put yourself out there and own your own style, with a strong sense of self and purpose, trusting and standing by your decisions.

So that at the end of 3 months you feel centred, empowered, and supported throughout your motherhood journey, no matter how old your children are.

If you are ready to be held and feel supported whilst you do the inner work that will help you come back home to you, RESTORED is for you.

Beautiful Mama,

Becoming a Mum is ultimately about taking on a new role and that can be exciting, daunting, and draining all at the same time. It’s natural for fears, concerns, and challenges to pop up as you navigate this new way of being and expand the ever-changing dynamics of your existing family and how that is shaped.

In many ways, it is a brave journey into the unknown where we may feel like we are supposed to have all the answers and yet at times, we feel we have none.

And those feelings are completely normal.

Motherhood can feel lonely and at the same time, like you have zero time alone.

Despite being so ready and willing to become a Mum, I wasn’t quite prepared for the moments where I felt disconnected to myself, frustrated by my depleted energy, and feeling like I was dropping the ball and not succeeding in any area due to the brain fogginess that had become my new reality.

And don’t even get me started on the disappointment that crept in sometimes about my new unfamiliar body no longer fitting into the outfits that used to fit and help make me feel more like me, fun, desirable, vibrant, and carefree so easily.

At times, it was all a bit of a vicious cycle - no energy to get out and do more of the things that made me happy like walking, cycling, heading out with friends, coupled with less desire to show up in clothes or with energy levels that weren’t comfortable, and then the subsequent result of missing out on the much needed energy boost that I would usually get from indulging in those activities.

“Miranda – Thank so much you again for your help. Through your support, I was able to create clarity and focus, in what was a jumbled mess of thoughts and ideas of all the things I thought I needed to change. You helped me see that the answer was so much simpler, and it felt so good to pause, take the first step, then reassess.
I am now feeling newly empowered in this chapter of my life, and I couldn’t be happier.”

- Kathy

Having conversations with Mum friends, I know I was not alone in feeling like that and knew there was still so much more support that was needed in this Motherhood space.

This is the kind of program that will light you up again, have you feeling confident in your own skin, empowered and excited about your unique and valuable place in the world.

NEXT STEPS

I believe no woman should have to navigate this chapter of their lives alone.

I know first-hand how important it is to have the best support around you.

If you’re ready for that support I’d love to welcome you onto a call where we can explore what this program could mean for you.
